How to tell if a guy likes you is a common question that women ask. Usually, she’s just gone out on a first date and is wondering if she made a good impression. Other times, it may be because she saw someone that seemed to express that he likes her, but he cannot muster the courage to say so.
Fortunately, men are quite predictable. They’ll usually do certain things that can show that they like you.

He Wants To Get To Know You
One way how to tell if a guy likes you is he will go out of his way to know you.
This may mean that he’ll check your background by asking your friends about you, or he’ll follow you secretly on social media, or if you work or go to school together, he may “hang around” a lot. He wants to know about your interests and the things that you’re up to.
A guy does these things seriously likes you. If he’s more confident, he’ll most likely approach you when he gets the chance.
However, he may be shy, in which case, he may be content being near you.
From here, you can flirt by flashing him a smile and that’ll usually be enough for him to come closer and introduce himself.
He Finds Ways to Touch You
Another way how to tell if a guy likes you is that he’ll find a way to touch you.
This can be done by lightly grazing your arm when he wants to make a point, or he may hug you when a happy event happens. There’ll also be times where he’ll find a way to put his arms around you.
A guy that likes you will make excuses just so he can feel your skin or your hair. He may even fix your hair by brushing it off the sides of your face.
He Shows It through His Movements
Finally, how to know if a guy likes you is that he’ll most likely look your way most of the time.
When he’s near you, he leans in to show that he cares. He may hold eye contact with you or tease you.
This guy merely wants to get your attention, because he wants you to notice him.
Again, shy guys often act differently.
Shy guys won’t look at a girl straight in the eye. Instead, they’ll look at you and quickly look away when you catch them.
These are just some of the signs that a guy likes you. However, this serves no guarantee.
Sometimes, guys have their own way of showing interest. They can do this by giving gifts to the girl they like or simply asking her what makes her happy.
If you’re intuitive, you’ll be able to pick up the signs.
However, don’t assume!
It’s still better to ask him if he likes you so that if it turns out that he doesn’t, you can move on. This is better than playing mind games. After all, you need a guy who can tell you that he likes you and you don’t need one who merely wants to play with you.
